Zinester Application

Read Freely Fest’s Zine Fair will take place Saturday, April 3, from noon–4 p.m. at Richland Library Main. Applications are now open for zine artists and DIY publishers interested in being part of the festival. Space is limited.

January 8, 2027, is the deadline to apply.

  • This application is for zine artists and zine publishers. If you’re a traditionally self-published author, please apply through our Indie Author Application.

    Zines should be fewer than 50 pages. We will prioritize zine artists and publishers based in the Columbia area.

  • Read Freely Fest takes place at Richland Library Main, 1431 Assembly Street, Columbia, SC 29201. The Zine Fair will be located on the second floor.

  • A $30 fee provides three feet of table space and one chair for the Zine Fair on Saturday from noon–4 p.m.

    • $30 for an additional three feet of table space, providing one full six-foot table, if available
