Susan Zurenda

Susan Beckham Zurenda taught English to college and AP high school students for 33 years. Her Southern literary novels, Bells for Eli and The Girl From the Red Rose Motel, have won multiple awards. Zurenda is also the recipient of numerous awards for her short fiction, including the South Carolina Fiction Prize, twice. Her upcoming novel, No Way Out But Through, is scheduled for publication in August 2026.
